Invite a friend: prize draw terms

These are the terms for the Tandem Invite a friend prize draw (the draw). Entering the draw means you accept them.

Promoter

Apple is not a sponsor of the draw and is not involved in it in any way.

Free entry

No purchase or payment is needed to enter. Tandem is free to download and use, and entering the draw costs nothing.

Who can enter

• People who live in the United Kingdom and are 18 or over on the day they enter.
• Not the promoter, the promoter's household or immediate family, or anyone involved in running the draw.

How to enter

1. In Tandem, open Invite a friend and share your code.
2. Your friend downloads Tandem, enters your code under Invite a friend, and is in a home with at least one other person by the closing date.
3. Each friend who does both gives you one entry in the draw.

• Each account can enter one code, once. It cannot enter its own code.
• Entries from fake or duplicate accounts, or accounts made only to gain entries, do not count.

Dates

• Opens: [OPENING DATE].
• Closing date: [CLOSING DATE] at 23:59 UK time. Friends who qualify after that do not count.
• Draw date: [DRAW DATE].

Prize

• One prize: [PRIZE, for example a £50 gift card for a named UK shop].
• There is no cash alternative. The prize cannot be transferred or exchanged.
• If the prize becomes unavailable, the promoter will give a prize of the same or greater value.

How the winner is chosen

On the draw date the promoter picks one winner at random by computer from every valid entry. A person with three qualifying friends has three entries.

Telling the winner

• The winner is emailed at the address on their Tandem account within 7 days of the draw.
• The winner has 14 days to reply with where to send the prize. Without a reply, a new winner is drawn the same way.
• The prize is sent within 28 days of the winner's reply.
• For one month after the draw, anyone can email hello@tandem.casa for the winner's first name and county. The winner can object to this when they reply.

Your data

• To run the draw the promoter uses what Tandem already stores: your account, your code, which accounts entered it, and whether those accounts are in a home with someone else.
• The winner's email address is used to contact them, and their postal address only to send the prize. Both are deleted three months after the prize is delivered.
• Nothing from the draw is used for marketing or shared with anyone else. The rest is in the privacy policy.

Changes

If fraud or a fault outside the promoter's control stops the draw running fairly, the promoter may change or end it and will say so on this page.
